Mesa Roldan, in the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park, Almeria, Spain.

Part 10 - Nature loves yellow

There are lots of these yellow flowers around the top. I don't know what they are called, but they are very delicate looking -although they can't be as they have the constant wind and sun to cope with. At this time of the year they are profuse and beautiful.

The park is an area of natural beauty of all kinds, from harsh and dramatic to soft and gentle. It covers a very large area. This is just one small part of it, but it is 10 minutes drive from where we live (from front door to car park) and is one of our favourite places for feeling the wind, admiring the views, studying the rocks and plants, and even just sitting. A place of peace and tranquility, where nature is the boss.

I bet the landscape is enhanced by these Sheila
Sheila, in Spain mostly: Yes, they are very pretty when they are all in bloom.
